Established in 2015 with a focus on residential renovation, PMK has evolved into a trusted name in construction through a steadfast commitment to client-centric service. To date, we have successfully completed over 300 residential projects, a track record that is proudly reflected in our growing portfolio.

Paul Kim
Founder and Owner of PMK Development, Inc.

Paul Kim is the Founder and Owner of PMK Development, Inc., bringing more than 25 years of experience in construction, real estate development, and business operations.

Prior to founding PMK in 2015, Paul built his professional foundation working at Hyundai, where he developed extensive experience in corporate operations, project coordination, and strategic growth.

With a background in Economics, Paul has combined business insight with hands-on construction expertise to grow PMK Development into a respected residential construction and development firm focused on quality craftsmanship, operational efficiency, and long-term client relationships.

Today, Paul is focused on expanding PMK’s manufacturing and supply division, strengthening the company’s vertically integrated capabilities and long-term infrastructure. As the company continues to grow, he is also actively guiding the next generation of leadership, working alongside his son as he transitions into a leading role within the construction side of the business.

Paul’s leadership philosophy centers on discipline, integrity, relationships, and building systems designed for long-term sustainability and growth.

Jonathan Kim
Managing Principal

Jonathan Kim is the Managing Principal of PMK Development, Inc., where he oversees project operations, construction management, workflow coordination, and field execution across the company’s residential development portfolio.

Jonathan began his career at PMK immediately after graduating from ArtCenter College of Design, where he studied Film. His creative and design-focused background has given him a unique perspective within the construction industry — blending aesthetics, precision, organization, and visual problem-solving with hands-on field experience.

Rather than entering construction from a traditional pathway, Jonathan started his journey at PMK in the field, joining a crew on his very first day and learning construction through direct on-site experience. Over the past six years, he has developed a deep understanding of residential construction operations, project coordination, scheduling, subcontractor management, and quality control from the ground up.

Jonathan is known for emphasizing efficiency, workflow optimization, communication, and execution quality throughout every phase of construction. His leadership approach combines design sensibility with practical construction experience, helping PMK maintain a strong focus on craftsmanship, organization, and operational excellence across its projects.

Outside of work, Jonathan is an avid runner and passionate art enthusiast who closely follows and participates in fine art auctions through Sotheby’s. His interests span paintings, sculpture, and contemporary art collecting.

One of his favorite works, Christ’s Entry into Brussels in 1889 by James Ensor, is housed at the Getty Museum, which he visits regularly. Jonathan draws inspiration from art’s ability to challenge convention and provoke new ways of thinking -perspectives that often influence his vision and leadership at PMK.
